The Ochsner Park Zoo is located at the corner of Park Street and Zoo Lane in the City of Baraboo. The zoo first opened in 1926 with 2 bear cubs and now has over 30 different animal species and holds regular educational and enrichment programs. The zoo is a USDA licensed facility that accepts animals born in captivity from licensed zoos or are not releasable in the wild due to injury. Small yet beautiful zoo in Baraboo, WI 11 exhibits housing 15 species. Open daily - FREE admission.Summer (May-Sept.) 8:30am-7:30pm Fall (Sept.-Oct.) 8:30am-5:30pm Winter (Oct - March) 8:30am-3pm Spring (April-May) 8:30am-5:30pm

Elmwood Park Zoo was founded in 1924. The Zoo moves ever forward guided by its mission to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the environment that will inspire active participation in conservation. The Zoo has a Enrichment involvement providing animals with elements or objects that enhance their environment.
